All Along Digital Version Beyond Politics: The Human Cost of Tragedy This is not about left wing vs right wing, liberal vs conservative. This is not about finger pointing on Capitol Hill. This is not about gun control. This is not about silent prayer vs verbal prayer. This is about our Constitutional Amendments. This is about right vs wrong. This is about moral vs immoral. But, most importantly it is about Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist with a loving family. A dedicated individual shot dead while advocating for his beliefs. We must pause to remember that, behind every headline and every debate, there are real people whose lives are irrevocably changed by moments of violence. The tragedy is not simply another statistic; it is the loss of a parent, a spouse, a child, and a friend. Erika Lane Frantzve, now faced with unimaginable grief, must find the strength to carry on for the sake of their children. The children, too young to understand the full weight of what has happened, sense the emptiness and confusion that now permeates their household. The pain they endure is not mitigated by distance or time; it is a profound and lasting wound that shapes their futures in ways we can scarcely comprehend. It is within these personal stories that the true cost of violence is revealed. The constitutional amendments that frame our nation’s laws were forged with the intention of safeguarding freedom, dignity, and peace. But each right carries corresponding responsibilities, and we are left to grapple with the question: how do we honor these rights while protecting the innocent? Debates over constitutional interpretation are often waged with abstract arguments and legal precedent. Yet, in the wake of tragedy, these debates must be rooted in empathy and an acknowledgment of moral responsibility. Our laws are not merely theoretical constructs; they are lived realities with tangible consequences for every family. When we consider right versus wrong in our society, we must move beyond rhetorical flourishes and ask ourselves what kind of nation we strive to be. Do we value life, compassion, and justice above all? Are we willing to confront uncomfortable truths about our collective values and the ways in which they manifest in moments of crisis? Selwyn Duke once said, “The more a society moves away from the truth, the more it will despise those who speak it.’” The murder of Charlie Kirk is not an isolated event. Across the country, similar tragedies unfold, each leaving a trail of heartbreak and unanswered questions. The cumulative impact on our communities is profound, leading to fear, distrust, and an erosion of the sense of safety that should underpin our society. Charlie’s cause becomes a symbol—a cause meant to inspire and advocate for change, now marred by violence and loss. Supporters and colleagues alike are faced with the aftermath, questioning whether their efforts can ever truly feel secure again. Vigils and memorials serve as temporary salves, but the underlying wounds persist. As we search for meaning in the wake of tragedy, moral dilemmas abound. There is no easy resolution to the tension between individual rights and collective wellbeing. The sanctity of life must be weighed against principles of liberty and autonomy, and in doing so, we confront the limitations of our legal and moral frameworks. Society’s response to such events is often swift and impassioned, yet lasting change requires more than outrage or sorrow. It demands a thoughtful reckoning with the forces that allow violence to take root—in our laws, our communities, and our hearts. We must examine how we can better support families who have suffered unimaginable loss, and how we can prevent future tragedies. For Charlie’s wife and children, healing will be a long and arduous journey. Support from friends, neighbors, and the broader community is essential, yet much of the struggle is borne in solitude. Their resilience is a testament to the power of love, even in the shadow of tragedy. Public conversations about violence and rights must be guided by humility and openness. The complexity of these issues defies simple solutions, and every perspective deserves to be heard. We must resist the urge to reduce lives to talking points, remembering that each loss is personal and sacred. May Charlie’s legacy be one of reflection, empathy, and progress. Let us not forget the tragedy, but let it inspire us to reach for solutions that uphold the highest ideals of justice, morality, and human dignity. This family’s journey through grief is emblematic of the broader societal struggle with healing and accountability. Justice, when pursued through the courts, offers the hope of closure but rarely delivers full solace. The legal system, for all its complexity, cannot restore what has been taken, nor can it erase the pain etched into the lives of survivors. In times of crisis, there is a temptation to retreat into the comfort of familiar narratives or political allegiances. However, genuine empathy requires that we listen—to the stories of those most affected, to the concerns of communities, and to the lessons history imparts. Only by honoring these voices can we move beyond division and toward a more compassionate society. Spirituality invites us to see tragedy not only as an ending but as a call to deeper compassion and unity under God’s guidance. When justice falters and human efforts Cont. on pg. 3

September 11, 2025 The Sun Bay Paper Page 2 The Right Side THE WORLD TRADE CENTER ATTACKS... THE WORLD TRADE CENTER ATTACKS... COULD HAVE...SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED BY THE FBI...IF THE THEN PRESIDENT ONLY SAID “OKAY”! The 1993 attack would have been prevented. The Democraps are slinging accusations that the FBI dropped the ball. NOTHING could be further from the truth! And I get pissed when I hear that nonsense and I have explained ad nauseam what the facts show, and it ALL falls in the lap of the Democrap President, Bill Clinton...100%.....the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, a truck bomb detonated in the parking garage under the North Tower where six people were killed and over 1,000 injuries, according to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. That all happened February 1993… and before February 1993, Bill Clinton, the President, was advised by AG Janet Reno that FBI NY had developed information that a blind cleric in Brooklyn, NY was preaching death to Americans, “blow up bridges, tunnels, and skyscrapers”! FBI NY had reliable sources and requested permission from Reno to open a case, to do an undercover operation. Reno reported that President Clinton said no… it’s a religion! Not long after… Muslims blew up the North Tower! Four days …that’s correct… four days later my FBI brothers, in my previous office, NY, took four of them down and a year later arrested their leader, Ramzi Yousef in Pakistan… relaxing with our “Allies” bragging about his accomplishments?! It gets worse…9/11. Do you remember that date…the Twin Towers…Pentagon …acts of war? It was chosen by the Muslim leader Khalid Sheikh Mohammed who is considered the main plotter. The attacks were carried out by al-Qaeda, led by Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden personally directed his followers to attack the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. It is believed that the date, 9/11, was chosen to coincide with the Turkish Muslims one year surge on the holy city of Vienna… where the Christian, Polish army, defeated the Turkish Muslims. It is believed by many, this was the START of the first Chrisian Crusade, to eliminate Islam’s caliphate. FBI HQ knew about Zacarias Moussaoui, wanting to take flying lessons...but NOT learn to land!!!! THAT ALONE should have lit a fuse. It did for the FBI...but NOT DOJ Reno! FBI funneled the information back to FBI Minnesota … “no search warrant for computers or rooms …they’re Muslims”. That was even more of a reason to search them!!! The New York FBI solved that case in record time …but it …should ‘a …could ‘a …would ‘a been prevented! Reno, appointed to the AG job by then... President Clinton... said NO ... it’s a religion!? NO investigation …it’s a RELIGION??? The flight school was in Minnesota! FBI HQ sent the same order as 1993, “no warrant” …it’s a religion. I will leave the rest to show how wrong some people can be… correction…how freaking stupid…some people are! We all know what a bone-headed blunder that was…some of us a little more …but not worth getting into now. FBI Minneapolis was beside themselves with frustration! OK, maybe...just a little more... let’s just say... knowing how good the FBI WAS, back then, I’m certain, in my opinion, that when my brother Agents put 2+2 together, they would have told FBI HQ and Reno, “IN THE STRONGEST TERMS”, that we NEED...we MUST search the computers!!! Response...NO! When finally searched, after 3,000 people were killed, all the information we needed to prevent the entire, and I mean entire act of war, was on the computer!!! Here we are…being invaded with radical Muslims. No? Who do you think Congresswoman Omar and that entire screwball “crew” are. She took an oath to protect, defend, and preserve the Constitution. But wait. She’s a radical Muslim who does not believe in your First Amendment …the separation of Church and State! How could that be? She also took almost the same oath to become a US citizen to “denounce any former Potentate” and to owe allegiance to America …our Constitution! Congress is full of Muslims…as many have said, “You cannot be a Muslim and believe in the Constitution” …it’s that simple! Every single Muslim in Congress must be suspended and vetted to find where their loyalty lies. Why do you think Michelle Obama told Hussein Obama “If you want to get into politics you have to change to a Christian”. You know …it’s like swapping your t-shirt…then changing sides! Yet, idiots do not believe. READ THE QURAN. Let me help you … “Smite their hands, feet and heads”. Smite means to cut off …you know like all those radical ISIS Muslims when they dug trenches in Iraq and machined gunned nonbelieving Muslims’ heads off and neatly place the severed head on their chest …then bulldozed! Vienna was attacked by the Ottoman Turks (referred to by some as “Islam” in this context) in 1529 and again in 1683! Why… because they were Vienna, Christians and for NO OTHER REASON! In the first decade of the 1800’s, President Thomas Jefferson was confronted with a dilemma of Muslim pirates killing American sailors, looting, stealing American ships and goods and he tried to reason with the Muslim leader, Sidi Soliman Mellimelli. Jefferson was told that their book of faith, the Quran directs them to kill all nonbelievers…making it a law. President Jefferson solved the problem by killing the Muslims with a new American force that lives to this day. “From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli …we will fight our country battles”. You may have heard of them …they are, The United States Marine Corp! Republicans MUST start arresting radical judges for interfering with the office of the President, for criminal incompetence (releasing murderers) cashless bail...and many more ways to rid the system of incompetence...push Congress to defund their staffing, electric bills, rent on their courtrooms! Arrest Schumer for Inciting to Riot along with any of them who call for action in the streets. Let them hire lawyers for millions and see how it feels. Get the FBI Criminal Violations BACK! J. Page 3 The Sun Bay Paper September 11, 2025 Last issue’s puzzle solution to ‘SOUNDS LIKE’ Last issue’s puzzle solution to Phony Numbers ‘Lets Celebrate’ Cont. from pg. 1 fall short, faith reassures us that every act of kindness, every step toward reconciliation, is sanctified in the eyes of the Creator. We are reminded that each life is sacred, and that our collective journey is illuminated by grace and hope. In striving for a more compassionate society, it is essential to acknowledge both our shared responsibilities and individual roles in fostering healing. Acts of kindness, whether grand gestures or simple words of support, contribute to the slow rebuilding of trust and hope within our communities. Each person’s commitment to understanding and empathy lays the foundation for lasting change, ensuring that the lessons learned from tragedy are never forgotten. Charlie conveyed strong Christian beliefs, and his views were seen as a model of bold, faith-based conservatism focused on restoring America’s “biblical values”. In the wake of this loss, many have turned to their faith for solace and understanding. The presence of God, though sometimes difficult to sense in moments of profound grief, offers comfort that transcends human explanation. It is in prayer, in the quiet moments of remembrance, that the divine gently reminds us of the eternal nature of love and the promise of reunion beyond this world. As we honor the memory of Charlie Kirk and others we have lost in tragedies, let us seek wisdom and strength from God, asking for the courage to forgive, the humility to learn, and the resolve to build a more just and loving society. May our actions reflect the divine command to love one another and may the legacy of the departed inspire us to walk forward with faith, trusting that healing and renewal are possible through God’s enduring love. For Charlie Kirk, a man who had courage in his faith, may you always be remembered. With unwavering faith and boundless grace, Dr. C The Human Cost of Tragedy

September 11, 2025 The Sun Bay Paper Page 4 Trump’s National Guard Deployment and the Art of the 80-20 Issue Donald Trump’s recent floated proposal to deploy the National Guard to crime-overrun blue cities like Chicago and Baltimore has been met with howls of outrage from the usual suspects. For many liberal talking heads and Democratic officials, this is simply the latest evidence of Trump’s “authoritarianism.” But such specious analysis and manufactured hysteria distract from what all parties ought to properly focus on: the well-being of the people who actually live in such crime-addled jurisdictions. What’s remarkable is not just the specific policy suggestion itself -- after all, federal force has been called in to assist state-level law enforcement plenty of times -- but rather how Trump is once again baiting his political opponents into defending the indefensible. He has a singular talent for making the Left clutch onto wildly unpopular positions and take the wrong side of clear 80-20 issues. It’s political jiu-jitsu at its finest. Crime in cities like Chicago and Baltimore isn’t a right-wing fever dream. It’s a persistent, documented crisis that continues to destroy communities and ruin lives. Chicago saw nearly 600 homicides in 2024 alone, “earning” it the dubious title of America’s homicide capital for the 13th consecutive year. In Baltimore, despite a recent downtick, violent crime remains exponentially higher than national averages. Sustained, decadeslong Democratic leadership in both cities has failed, time and again, to secure even a minimum baseline level of safety for its residents -- many of whom are Black and working-class, the very communities Democrats purport to champion. Trump sees that leadership and quality-of-life vacuum. And he’s filling it with a popular message of law and order. Trump’s proposal to deploy the National Guard -- if local leadership continues to abdicate their most basic governance duties -- isn’t the flight of fancy of a would-be strongman. It’s federalism functioning as the Founders intended: The federal government must step in, per Article IV of the Constitution, when local governance breaks down so catastrophically that the feds are needed to “guarantee ... a republican form of government.” Even more specifically, the Insurrection Act of 1807 has long been available as a congressionally authorized tool for presidents to restore order when state unrest reaches truly intolerable levels. Presidents from Jefferson to Eisenhower to Bush 41 have invoked it. Trump’s critics would rather not have a conversation about bloody cities like Chicago -- or the long history of presidents deploying the National Guard when local circumstances require it. They’d rather scream “fascism” than explain why a grandmother in Englewood should have to dodge gang bullets on her way to church. They’d rather chant slogans about “abolishing the police” than face the hard fact that the communities most devastated by crime consistently clamor for more law enforcement -- not less. This is where Trump’s political instincts shine. He doesn’t try to “win” the crime debate by splitting the difference with progressives. He doesn’t offer a milquetoast promise to fund “violence interrupters” or expand toothless social programs. He goes right at the issue, knowing full well that the American people are with him. Because they are. The public has consistently ranked crime and safety among their top concerns; last November, it was usually a topfive issue in general election exit polling. And polling consistently shows that overwhelming majorities -- often in the 70%-80% range -- support more police funding and oppose the Left’s radical decarceration agenda. Democrats, ever in thrall to their activist far-left flank, are stuck defending policies with rhetoric that most voters correctly identify as both dangerous and absurd. Trump knows that when he floats these proposals, Democrats and their corporate media allies won’t respond with nuance. They’ll respond with knee-jerk outrage -- just as they did in 2020, when Trump sent federal agents to Portland to stop violent anarchists from torching courthouses. The media framed it as martial law; sane Oregonians saw it as basic governance. This dynamic plays out again and again. When Trump highlights the border crisis and the need to deport unsavory figures like Mahmoud Khalil and Kilmar Abrego Garcia, Democrats defend open borders. When Trump attacks gender ideology indoctrination in schools, Democrats double down on letting teachers hide children’s “transitions” from their parents. When Trump condemns pro-Hamas rioters in American cities, Democrats can’t bring themselves to say a word of support for Israel’s war against a U.S. State Department-recognized foreign terrorist organization. When Trump signs an executive order seeking to partially recriminalize flag burning, Democrats defend flag burning. On and on it goes. By now, it’s a well-established pattern. And it’s politically devastating for the Left. Moreover, the relevant history is on Trump’s side. This sort of federal corrective goes back all the way to the republic’s origins; those now freaking out might want to read up on George Washington’s efforts to quash the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794. Call it the art of the 80-20 issue. Along with his sheer sense of humor, Trump’s instinctual knack for picking such winning battles is one of his greatest political assets. And this time, the winner won’t just be Trump himself -- it will be Chicagoans and Baltimoreans as well. DAILY EDITORIALS BY: JOSH HAMMER

Why? The law presumes juveniles are intellectually and psychologically too immature to appreciate the wrongfulness of their violent ways and deserve leniency. But to borrow from Mr. Bumble in "Oliver Twist," "If the law supposes that, the law is a ass -- a idiot." Violent juveniles have what Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. characterized as the "bad man's view of the law." The justice elaborated, "If you want to know the law and nothing else, you must look at it as a bad man, who cares only for the material consequences which such knowledge enables him to predict." From the bad man's vantage point, the law is reduced to "prophecies of what courts will do in fact." Violent, recidivist juveniles are a crime wave unto themselves. Their recidivism is fueled by law enforcement indulgence: pretrial diversion, rehabilitation fantasies, probation or reform school. They know how to game the system. They migrate to jurisdictions notorious for leniency. Word of mouth among juveniles travels at warp speed. Adult gangs recruit juveniles to do their dirty work, knowing that law enforcement will look the other way or concoct excuses for juvenile crime. With all due respect, the U.S. Supreme Court has blundered in constitutionally shielding youths from condign punishment for violent felonies under the Eighth Amendment. Three reasons were advanced to justify the leniency in Miller v. Alabama (2012). First, the ruling states that children are immature and exhibit an "underdeveloped sense of responsibility (leading) to recklessness, impulsiveness and heedless risk-taking." But that is not true. Juveniles are quite mature when it comes to evaluating the risk of punishment, just as they know the market price of illicit drugs. They are not ingenues. In law enforcement, better to be feared than loved. The satirical lyrics from "West Side Story's" "Gee, Officer Krupke" speak volumes: "Dear kindly Judge, your Honor / My parents treat me rough / With all their marijuana / They won't give me a puff / They didn't wanna have me / But somehow I was had / Leapin' lizards, that's why I'm so bad! / Officer Krupke, you're really a square / This boy don't need a judge, he needs an analyst's care! / It's just his neurosis that oughta be cured / He's psychologic'ly disturbed!" Second, the ruling argues that children "are more vulnerable (than adults) to negative influences" and outside pressures, including from their family and peers; they have limited control over their environment and "lack ability to extricate themselves from horrific, crime-producing settings." But that shortchanges free will. We all can defeat the irresistible by resisting. Many youths do it every day. Third, the ruling asserts that "a child's character is not as 'well formed' as an adult's; his traits are 'less fixed' and his actions less likely to be 'evidence of irretrievabl(e) deprav(ity).'" That may be true. Thousands of years of experience, however, have demonstrated that the human mind is unable to distinguish between juveniles who are irretrievably lost and those who are not. The safest and fairest course is to impose stiff prison sentences on all who have been convicted of violent felonies. Overdeterrence of criminality is superior to the risk of exposing the innocent to juvenile predation. What about parents? They need accountability just like their offspring. Procreation is voluntary, not coerced. Adults should refrain from childbearing unless they are willing to take the time and effort to raise children properly by example and instruction. As employers are responsible for the wrongdoing of their employees, parents should be held criminally accountable for the crimes of their children. That will concentrate the mind wonderfully on abstaining from sexual promiscuity. Innocent children of an irresponsible parent can be put up for adoption or raised by foster parents. Moreover, punishing the parent will arrest the epidemic of mal-parenting and deter future parental irresponsibility. We do not need to reinvent the wheel to end the juvenile crime wave. The answer has been in plain view from the beginning of time. DAILY EDITORIALS BY: ARMSTRONG WILLIAMS

September 11, 2025 The Sun Bay Paper Page 6 A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a column about some of the most common questions I receive. This week, I thought it would be interesting to write a column answering some of the more unusual questions I get. Or to clarify, they may be unusual to you. But not to me. In the 50-plus years I’ve been dealing with Social Security issues, I don’t think there is a single question I haven’t been asked many times before! Q: I am an 85-year-old woman in Tucson. I recently took a friend to one of our local Social Security offices where she had an appointment to resolve a Medicare matter. While I was waiting in my car in the office parking lot, I noticed many young people who appeared to be in their 20s and 30s entering the office. What kind of benefits could they be applying for? A: They most likely were not there to file for any Social Security benefits. They were there to get a replacement Social Security card. (People are losing their cards all the time.) A very high percentage of the workload in any Social Security office is just that -- helping young people replace a lost Social Security card. Q: I am getting my Social Security benefits, which I started at age 70. My 62-year-old wife is about to sign up for Social Security. She was a stay-at-home mom for much of our marriage, so her own Social Security benefit is very small. She will get much more on my record. Does that mean she simply forgoes her own benefit and just files for spousal benefits on my account? A: No. She will be paid her own benefit first. Then that benefit will be supplemented with whatever extra spousal benefits she is due on your record. And as I’ve pointed out many times in this column, her spousal benefit will be based on your full retirement age benefit, not your augmented age 70 benefit. Although if you die first, her widow’s benefit will be based on your higher age 70 benefit. Q: My father died several years ago. After he passed, the Social Security office contacted my mother and helped her file for widow’s benefits. Recently, my wife’s father died. But nobody ever contacted her mother, and she eventually got in touch with Social Security herself to file a widow’s claim. Can you explain why their cases were handled differently? A: Yes, I can. Although there are all kinds of variables that could come into play, here is a very broad outline of how widows’ claims are usually handled. If a woman was getting only spousal benefits on her husband’s record before he died (meaning she didn’t have any Social Security of her own), then once the Social Security Administration learns of her husband’s death, she will be automatically converted from wife’s benefits to widow’s benefits. No application is needed. If a woman was getting some benefits on her own record and some additional spousal benefits on her husband’s record (meaning her name is already attached to her husband’s Social Security account), then the SSA will likely contact her to help her file for widow’s benefits. But if a woman were getting only her own retirement benefits and no spousal benefits from her husband, then after he dies, the ball is in her court, so to speak. In other words, it would be up to her to contact the SSA to file for widow’s benefits. Q: As we all know, more than a few men have had multiple wives. If such a guy dies, will all those women get widow’s benefits on his record? A: It’s possible, but not probable. Why? For a couple of reasons. Some of those ex-wives will likely have remarried. And once they do that, they won’t be due any Social Security benefits on the prior husband’s account. Also, if any of the ex-wives worked, they might be due higher benefits on their own record. Q: My partner and I have been living together for almost 30 years. But we’ve never gotten married. We think of ourselves as a common-law couple. We are both getting close to our 60s and are now starting to think about Social Security. I always made more money than she did. If I die, will she get any widow’s benefits on my record? A: As a general rule, Social Security follows state law concerning the legality of a marriage. So, if the state you live in recognizes common law relationships and considers you married, then the Social Security Administration will also consider you married and pay your partner widow’s benefits after you die. But if your state doesn’t recognize common law marriage, you could be in trouble. Of course, you could make things much simpler for Social Security purposes if you just got legally married. Q: We have a conservatorship for our two grandchildren. Our son and his wife are just unable to take care of these kids. When we recently signed up for our Social Security benefits, they told us the grandkids can’t get dependent benefits on our records. Why not? A: Social Security law says children can only get benefits on a grandparent’s record if both natural parents are deceased or disabled. Apparently, that’s not the case in your situation. Your only other option would be to adopt these kids. If you did that, they would be eligible for benefits on your Social Security records. Q: I’d like to learn more about the rate of interest earned by the Social Security trust funds. Where can I find that information? A: You can find out everything you might want to know about the financing of Social Security and the operation of the trust funds from the Social Security Administration actuaries. It’s all online. Do a Google search for “Social Security Office of the Chief Actuary” and once at their site, just start noodling around. Page 7 The Sun Bay Paper September 11, 2025 There Are 50 Million Illegal Aliens in the USA We Can and Must Deport Them All There Are 50 Million Illegal Aliens in the USA. We Can and Must Deport Them All. Here Are the Top 10 Ways for President Trump To Make It Happen Efficiently and Quickly This column is the combined recommendations of TV, radio and podcast host Wayne Allyn Root and retired Deputy Patrol Agent In Charge for San Diego Sector, J.J. Carrell. First, there is nothing we are asking for President Trump to do that has not already been done. There is nothing we are asking President Trump to do that is not already supported by existing laws and our U.S. Constitution. Three previous presidents -- Hoover, Truman and Eisenhower -- already used their Executive Authority to remove millions of illegal aliens from our nation. Second, let’s be crystal clear on the correct number of illegal aliens living in America today. The number is shocking, but it is based on factual truth. AYale/MIT demographic study was released in 2019. This study’s data was run through an algorithm one million times and concluded there were 22 million illegal aliens inside our nation (before Biden took office). Based on Border Agent J.J. Carrell’s 24 years of experience on the border, and through extensive research, we believe the real number of illegal aliens allowed into America under Biden was 25 to 30 million. So, it is a fact that as many as 50 million illegal aliens live in America. That equates to over one in six residents of the USA. This is a demographic time bomb that is ready to explode, right in time for the 2030 census. It is also a time bomb when it comes to violent crime, gangs, drugs, homelessness, organized retail theft, overcrowded public schools, overwhelmed health care system, the explosion of spending and debt, and the introduction of third-world disease into America. In short, this third-world invasion is turning America into a third-world craphole. Here are the immediate Top 10 actions designed by the combined team of Wayne Allyn Root and J.J. Carrell to successfully and quickly deport 50 million illegal aliens: 1. Appoint a military general with war-time experience to create a plan to detain and deport every illegal alien. This plan will oversee the following actions: A) Build, maintain and staff detention facilities across the southwest border. B) Military and DHS personnel (including retired military and border agents) will be cross-designated as Immigration Judges that will process cases 24/7 throughout the southwest detention facilities. C) Coordinate deportation flights, trains and buses to transport illegal aliens out of our nation. D) Military special forces and other elite military units will be assigned to CBP officers and agents to provide protection and be granted authorization to arrest individuals under immigration law. 2. Cross-designate and deputize state and local police and sheriffs across America to locate, arrest and turn over illegal aliens to CBP Officers. 3. Hire retired military soldiers, retired state and local police, and retired Border Patrol agents. This will immediately increase the immigration law enforcement force by thousands of ready-to-work professional LEOs (law enforcement officers who are certified to carry firearms over state lines). 4. Make it so difficult to live, work and move in the United States of America for illegal aliens that they self-deport in the millions. A) Enforce E-Verify, so no illegal alien can work. B) Require Real ID to ensure noncitizens cannot function in America anymore. C) All welfare, food stamps, free health care and public-school benefits for illegal aliens are banned permanently. D) Any sanctuary state, city or county immediately loses all federal funding. E) Worksite enforcement is increased nationwide -- to include heavy fines for first-time offenders, but for multiple repeat offenses, the offending businesses will be shut down. *With one caveat -- businesses like hotels, restaurants, farms and agriculture will have a one-year phase-in period to terminate all their noncitizen employees and replace them with U.S. citizens. But this period will end while President Trump is still in office, and therefore will be strictly enforced. 5. To make this ban of illegal alien employees work, all these foreign workers will have to be replaced by U.S. citizens. To accomplish that goal, every U.S. citizen must be required to get a job, or lose all welfare benefits. This new pool of legal U.S. citizens will fill the jobs of illegal aliens. 6. We need to tax remittance monies sent outside the USA at rates so high, as to make sending the monies no longer feasible. 7. The GOP-controlled Congress must pass voter photo ID (including photo and thumbprint -- exactly like Mexico uses for elections) for federal elections, and an additional voting law demanding proof of citizenship for federal elections. 8. President Trump must use Executive Action to institute “Census Security Reform” that permanently bans the counting of noncitizens. 9. Self-deportation will save America hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars, versus carrying out forced deportation. We recommend President Trump offer a generous $5,000 bonus to each illegal who self-deports. This $5,000 bonus is a BARGAIN to force every possible illegal alien to pick up and leave, compared to the onerous cost of paying for them in the USA (including welfare, health care & public schools, we might pay $100,000+ per year). Over time, we will save trillions of dollars by paying them to leave. 10. Finally, we point out that an invasion of 50 million foreigners -- including MS13, Tren de Aragua, Hamas, Hezbollah and Chinese military-age males -- is absolutely positively a NATIONAL EMERGENCY. Therefore, President Trump must publicly announce that this border invasion is now officially declared a national emergency. Declare that Joe Biden, Border Czar Kamala Harris, and HHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas committed treason by opening the borders and welcoming in tens of millions of foreign invaders. As a result, the Trump DOJ will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. That’s our Top 10 list of ways to efficiently and quickly deport 50 million illegal aliens. We implore President Trump to begin to take actions -- like the U.S. military involvement we recommend above -- that reflect the implications of this national emergency combined with a demographic time bomb. Page 9 The Sun Bay Paper September 11, 2025 Homemade Stain Remover for Laundry and Carpet I’m excited to teach you how to make a fabulous, if not magical, homemade stain remover. This stain remover recipe is so easy and cheap to make. And, wow, does it perform! Unlike some other homemade laundry sain and detergent products you’ll find here at Everyday Cheapskate, this one is also a homemade stain remover for carpet. Ah-ha! That got your attention! Just let me be clear at the get-go that while this stain remover works super well on fabric, upholstery and carpet in the house and car, it must be rinsed well or laundered once that stain disappears. Got it? OK. Let’s get right to it. INGREDIENTS You will need fresh hydrogen peroxide, Blue Dawn dishwashing liquid, a clean, empty spray bottle (any size) and a funnel (optional). INSTRUCTIONS Into a spray bottle, using a funnel if desired, pour one part Blue Dawn and two parts fresh hydrogen peroxide, i.e. 1 cup Blue Dawn and 2 cups hydrogen peroxide OR 2 tablespoons Blue Dawn and 4 tablespoons hydrogen peroxide. The ratio is important. This means that you can use any size bottle to make up any amount of laundry stain remover you need or want. On a personal note, I prefer a dark amber spray bottle because it helps to protect the hydrogen peroxide from light. TO USE Shake bottle to mix. Apply to stain. Wait a few minutes. Don’t be surprised when that stain disappears all by itself! Or, if not, rub the stain with a brush or clean white cloth. (You don’t want to transfer color from a cleaning cloth to the stained item.) Launder the item as usual. If treating carpet or upholstery, use sparingly then rinse and blot with clear water. Keep in mind that you’ve just sprayed full-strength dishwashing detergent on that sofa, chair or carpet; it needs to be completely removed. This DIY laundry stain remover is a miracle worker all around the house. I use it to pretreat stains on kitchen and bath linens, clothes, carpet, rugs, my white sofas and dining room chairs. It tackles red wine stains, organic stains such as blood and grass, and pet and baby stains too. You can use this on colored items as well as whites. (Please test first in an inconspicuous place.) FAQS “Do I have to use Blue Dawn, or can I substitute something else?” You can substitute any kind of liquid dishwashing soap, although I wouldn’t use anything other than Blue Dawn unless it’s an emergency. That’s because Blue Dawn contains specific surfactants that are far more effective on grease and oil than any other product in its class. And if you use Blue Dawn Ultra, your results will be even more spectacular because the Ultra version contains enzymes. That makes it really effective on proteins, which most household stains contain. “Why do you specify “fresh” hydrogen peroxide?” Hydrogen peroxide dissipates in the presence of light -- both sunlight and household light. It loses its effectiveness. If you use an old bottle of hydrogen peroxide that you’ve had sitting on the shelf for years, you might as well just use water. It’s worn out, lost its spunk. Keeping your bottle of homemade stain remover in an amber bottle will help to protect it from light. Storing the bottle in a dark cupboard will protect it even further. The rule of thumb is this: Once opened, keep hydrogen peroxide tightly sealed in a dark place, and use it within six months. September 11, 2025 The Sun Bay Paper Page 10 The Media Explore ‘Toxic Empathy’ in Christianity PBS News tweeted out something unexpected from conservative Christian author Allie Beth Stuckey, author of the book “Toxic Empathy: How Progressives Exploit Christian Compassion.” This was the Stuckey quote they shared: “Empathy becomes toxic when it encourages you to affirm sin, validate lies, or support destructive policies.” At first, I hoped “PBS News Hour” interviewed Stuckey, as they did a few months ago with Michael Knowles. But it turns out their website posted an article by Associated Press religion reporter Tiffany Stanley. The story noted the trend against empathy in pro-Trump circles, and balanced it with passionate rebuttal from the “progressive” Christians. The other conservative in the piece was Joe Rigney, a professor and pastor who wrote “The Sin of Empathy: Compassion and its Counterfeits.” He acknowledged: “Could someone use my arguments to justify callous indifference to human suffering? Of course,” but the Left uses Christian themes for secular ends. “Jesus was an asylum seeker” is one of their manipulative lines. Or “Jesus was a Palestinian,” which aggressively forgets he was a Jew. It’s been particularly jarring to watch Christians oppose empathy, claimed historian Susan Lanzoni, a graduate of Harvard Divinity School who wrote a book on the history of empathy. “That’s the whole message of Jesus, right?” No. Jesus did not show empathy when he turned over the tables of the money changers outside the synagogue, and he displayed some anger when people questioned healing a man’s withered hand on the Sabbath. There are times for Christians to be indignant on behalf of God’s church. As Stanley pointed out, Stuckey made it clear empathy can be good, but it’s been coopted “to convince people that the progressive position is exclusively the one of kindness and morality,” as in: “If you really care about women, you’ll support their right to choose” abortion. Or “If you really respect people, you’ll use preferred pronouns” Or another: “If you’re really compassionate, you’ll welcome the immigrant.” God-fearing people can feel empathy for the stranger -- the immigrant -- but that doesn’t have to overflow into an open-borders policy that allows untrammeled illegal immigration. Conservative Christians feel that the unborn child is a human being who cannot be sacrificed for a woman’s convenience. Couldn’t it be argued that it’s “toxic empathy” to encourage a frightened woman to destroy an innocent baby? The AP reporter also brought in Episcopal preacher Dana Colley Corsello for the typical liberal-media spin. “The arguments about toxic empathy are finding open ears because farright-wing, white evangelicals are looking for a moral framework around which they can justify President Trump’s executive orders and policies,” she preached. Jesus is painted as exactly the opposite of Trump. The liberal media are much more in tune with far-left-wing, black evangelicals like Obama’s former preacher Jeremiah Wright, who didn’t display empathy for his fellow Americans when he described 9/11 as the “chickens coming home to roost.” That “liberation theology” neatly matches the radical left. In the days after the article, Stuckey found toxic empathy in the people who felt sorry for the vicious killer of Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte. The killer was a minority. She tweeted: “This animal was arrested and released a dozen times in the name of social justice and racial equity. Social justice and racial equity policies are borne out of ‘empathy’ for the ‘marginalized.’” Empathy should flow plentifully to the victim and her family, and not the killer. If the killer showed remorse and asked for forgiveness, that could change. But it’s toxic in the aftermath of a senseless attack to ignore the murder victim and bemoan a “system.” Tim Graham Director of Media Analysis, Media Research Center & Executive Editor NewsBusters.org blog Evil on the Prowl Everything has a political angle now. The left gets worked up by a jeans ad. The right gets worked up by Cracker Barrel removing both the cracker and the barrel from their logo. Red and blue, colors on the light spectrum and in nature, are now political. A 23-year-old transgender gunman killing children is political. The prayers offered are maligned as useless. It is all political. My radio show is, when aired live, midday. I intended to talk about the Democrats and crime and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik convincing President Donald Trump we need 600,000 Chinese students in our universities. I had a humorous soundbite from Secretary of State Rubio begging Trump to issue an executive order banning Saturday weddings during college football season. Instead of all that, I had to narrate over an evil act. While that was happening, my daughter, in college, was texting. She was barricaded in a classroom with an active shooter on her college campus. The students had moved a chair to the door handle to make it difficult to open, and were contemplating moving the bookcases. Unlike the events in Minnesota, the events on her college campus were inspired by a phone call that turned out to be fake. A series of such calls has plagued college campuses around the nation in the past week. Through it all, news of the shooter came out. He had transitioned to female. He had used a picture of Jesus as target practice. He had written "where is your God now" on the gun magazine and "kill Donald Trump" on the barrel. He was depraved. He became another transgender shooter at a Christian school, having barricaded the children into a church at mass and begun firing through the windows. I gave the Mayor of Minneapolis a pass for scoffing at people offering prayers. Children in his city just died. He was under stress, and his emotions were raw. People online excoriated him. He needed some grace to grieve and be angry. I gave him no such pass when, in the evening, he went on CNN to condemn those who might attack the transgender community. Were the shooter a Trump supporter, you and I both know he would be blasting the president and his supporters. The Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, just a year ago, wore a trans-rights t-shirt with a knife on it that implied using violence against those who oppose the trans-community. The transgender murderer had a sticker on his manifesto implying the use of violence to defend the trans community. Online, Democrats yelled that Republicans have blood on their hands for not passing gun control. Republicans yelled that Democrats had normalized violent mentally ill people. I have my own political opinions on the matter, which I hold to strongly, but should we not first pray? Should we not first cry? Should we not first grieve? I actually blame former President Barack Obama for our turn to political screaming matches. As president, when Sandy Hook happened, he used his time addressing a nation in mourning to assail Republicans and demand gun control. He gave license to others to immediately drag politics over the still-warm bodies of dead kids. Democrats claim to offer solutions, but they are unworkable. Republicans, instead of talking about gun control, talk about mental health. In truth, neither side has a real solution. Politics has no solution for evil. No legislation solves spiritual problems. Guns will not be confiscated. Parents and states that support the transition of children will never admit they were wrong. Jesus weeps, and the tribes argue over who has more blood on their hands and which laws should be enacted or not. The church has the only real answer. But Americans have moved beyond the church and worship at the altar of politics now. Even many self-professed Christians prefer social media tirades to quiet prayer and commitment to seeking the welfare of their community. The people of God, in the moment of crisis, have the gospel to confront evil. It is the only solution, and it is far better deployed in grace and love and truth than in political harangues as children lie dying, fallen in the path of evil. ERICK ERICKSON
